    This is a pattern designed by Lake View Primitives. It features a black crow decorating a very primitive Christmas tree. Simple pennies on the tree and all around the outside edge add warmth to this sweet penny rug. You can use quilted muslin, prairie cloth or wool for the background. I stained quilted muslin with coffee to give it an aged look. This is a very quick and easy project.
    It is titled "A Primitive Christmas Tree". Just in time to make this for the holidays. The finished penny rug measures 15" x 15" when complete. The pattern comes with a color picture, detailed instructions and full-size templates.
