THIS IS SUCH AN AMAZING FIND! I found it on a trip to Los Angeles this past Spring. This appears to be a men's jacket and is extremely heavy as it is lined with a flannel buffalo plaid print. As you can see in one of the last photos where the sleeves are detached, the sleeves have a silky polyester lining. There are a lot of cool details to this piece, several pockets, embroidery and leather laced embellishments going up the sides toward the bottom. Three zippered pockets on the front, one on the inside. Zippers at the wrist. The sleeves zip on and off with no issues allowing an easy transition from a coat to a vest or vice versa. Gusseted shoulders. No rips, holes or stains aside from one small area of discoloration that is on the inside of the coat (you can't see it when it's on) toward the top as shown in photos. All of the snaps and zippers are in excellent shape. The cuffs are a little distressed around the edges which I believe to be how it was sold and the intended style.
Please refer to the measurements provided below to ensure that this is going to be the right size. Vintage size tags do not match up with modern sizing so please be sure this will be the right fit.
Measurements are provided in inches and with the jacket lying flat, buttoned/zipped.  Please double measurements where applicable.
Chest (Measured Buttoned) armpit to armpit: 25"
Shoulder to Hem: 26.5"
Sleeves (Measured from under armpit to cuff): 22"
This is being sold as-found. Please note, I have not had this jacket cleaned since acquiring it. I leave that up to the buyer.
