    Description

Solid Mule Deer Antlers, Recommended for Most Chewers
Please scroll through the pictures to see representations of each size.  These are priced per single antler - discount should automatically apply for more than one.
Measurements are taken with a cloth tape and include the total antler Y shape.
Measurements are in inches.  A small is typically what a large at the pet store might be, but I've found even little dogs enjoy holding these in their paws, so for a smaller dog they just last a lot longer.
These are individually priced, and the photos shown are examples.  Since antlers are a natural product they do vary in color and appearance.
These are very long lasting and I've had a few friends ask for them to help train their dogs to find shed antlers.  My 3 dogs love antlers, but their too precious (and not very bright) to risk them running off leash in the forest.  We instead have fun hiding them in the backyard.  Depending on your dogs chewing habits these may last anywhere from several weeks to many years.
If you are looking for a suggestion for a particular breed of dog, don't hesitate to ask.
I have found that choosing my dog size and weight is not always the best.  I had a 12 pound toy poodle that could only chew elk splits with her poor teeth, but I have a YorkiePom that can chew things even my big English Spaniel can't.  Every dog is different and only a pet owner knows how much their dog likes to chew, and how often.
Strategically placing a few of these around my house helps keep my 3 dogs from chewing on other things like the couch or my new tennis shoes.
These antlers were found over the last year by myself and my husband. Deer shed their antlers every year, and once they move to higher ground for summer we walked in and searched for them on foot.  We believe in pack it in and pack it out, and do our best not to disturb any wildlife.
The primary composition of these naturally shed antlers are Calcium and Phosphorus. Trace amounts of potassium, sodium, magnesium, iron and zinc. Antlers have been washed in water and had their edges hand sanded to remove any sharp edges.
Antlers are a natural product, are unique in their shape, and have natural flaws. I've tried to display a variety of pictures to demonstrate the uniqueness of the antler. They can range in color from light brown to different shades of gray and white, depending on how long they have been exposed to the sun and weather. I've even found some stained pink from the red clay soil they were shed in.
Antlers are a great alternative to other "natural" products like bully sticks, which are a slaughterhouse waste product. Antlers seem to keep their teeth clean, strong, and healthy and they make no mess.
If you would like a specific color or shape please feel free to email me before purchasing to make sure I have what you want available.
Reminders: Please make sure that you supervise your pet while introducing them to any new chew. Make sure to remove your antler chew from your pet before its small enough to be a choking hazard.
