    Description

    This is a rare set of antique SNUG SEAT Soda Fountain Chairs and Display Octagonal Table from the, perhaps, W.B. McLean Manufacturing Co.(not engraved) of Pittsburgh, PA. Circa 1912. These were from a basement of a local drug store/soda fountain shop. The chairs are a 3-legged design made to fit “snuggly” into the base of the table, saving space in the shop. The table is missing the keys and the glass top, although the 3 clips are present. The green felt is believed to be the original and shows related wear. The chairs may be oak and have iron braces (peeling paint) under the seats. Two chairs have some de lamination (see pictures). The legs of the table show wear. There are engraved markers on the back of the chairs.
