    The side is about 4 inches from the top of the waistband and the start of the leg opening.
    Remember, fit may vary.  I have found that the older Jockey's  fit differently than the current Jockey's made in Asia.  However I have received feedback from customers that vary. Some say they are bigger than expected and some have said that they are smaller than expected.  I am not guaranteeing fit.  I can only give you what I know about the item.
