This fun star quilt has a lot of snap! The quilt uses an assortment of 20 Dark prints (1/2 yard each for small quilt and 5/8 yard each for large quilt) and 1 Background print (1-3/4 yard for the small quilt and 2-1/2 yards for the large size). You'll want some variation in the values of your Dark prints For example, they could range from medium or dark-medium to dark. The Dark prints will need to contrast well with your Background print selection. You can select the Dark prints from 3 or 4 color families if you wish. Just keep in mind as you select your prints that you will want them to show up against each other so you'll need some variation in value and/or color. You'll need an additional 1 yard for binding. We've also included instructions for cutting from your stash. This is a great quilt to cut from your stash! Special Notions: 1 package or roll of 2" finished half-square triangle paper. The triangle paper from Quiltime or Triangles on a Roll will work best for the units we'll be working with. If you have a package of sheets from Quiltime, you'll need 7 sheets for the small quilt or 10 sheets for the large quilt. The fabric cut sizes are not planned to work with Thangles.
