    This collectible item was extremely popular in the 1930s and 40s when everyone hung out at ice-cream parlors and soda fountains. It is a vintage cylindrical glass straw holder featuring Coca-Cola.
    The straws rest inside on a tray that sits at the bottom of the container. A rod connects the tray to the lid at the top so that when the lid gets lifted, it pulls the straws upward. This makes dispensing the straws more convenient and sanitary.
