29 PC VORTEX & LILLY CUPS SODA FOUNTAIN SUNDAE HOLDERS SILVERPLATE & SODA SPOONS

Description

This is 29 pieces of Vortex & Lilly Cups Soda & Sundae Holders including 12 vintage silverplate soda spoons.  The holders were used to hold disposable Dixie Cups for the ice cream sodas and sundaes.
These came from an auction of an old drugstore in Kansas City that went out of business in the early 1960's.  It opened in the 1940's.
The lot includes:
10 Vortex Soda Holders, marked pat. 1914 on the bottom. (See photo).
3 Vortex Sundae Holders, marked on the bottom. (See photo).
These 15% silver nickel soda and sundae holders are highly silver plated and
contribute to the tone and refinement to any soda fountain.
3 - Lilly Cups Soda Holders, (2 5/8" in diameter) marked on bottom from Public Service         Cup Co. (See photo).
Patent Applied For - 18% Nickel Silver.
1 - Lilly Cups Soda Holder is slightly larger (3 1/4 in diameter) and simply marked Lilly           Cups
on the bottom. (See Photo).
Lilly Cups are one-piece strong and rigid construction.
12 - Vintage Silver plate Soda Spoons (7 1/2" long) Wentworth Pattern issued in 1938 by
H & T Mfg. Co.  These are
rare
compared to the longer iced tea spoons that were              used.
